EVIE Selected for Prestigious UK Automotive Technology Accelerator
EVIE Autonomous has been selected to join Mobilise, a UK Government-backed accelerator programme supporting some of the country’s most promising automotive and mobility technology businesses.

The programme is focused on ambitious SMEs developing innovations in connected and automated mobility, automotive software and zero-emission vehicle technology.
EVIE was named by the Government as one of the successful Mobilise companies, recognising the commercial potential of its autonomous technology and its ability to contribute to the future of the UK automotive industry.
Accelerating EVIE’s Route to Market
EVIE develops vehicle-agnostic autonomous intelligence for vehicles, machines and robotic platforms operating across agriculture, airports, logistics, mining, defence, construction and industrial environments.
Its primary technology platform, ARLO, brings together artificial intelligence, machine vision, AI-enhanced 4D radar, localisation, navigation and real-time edge processing.
This autonomous intelligence is supported by Watchdog, EVIE’s independent safety and machine-control layer, which monitors the commands produced by the autonomy system before they reach the vehicle.
The Mobilise programme will provide EVIE with access to commercial support, industry expertise, investor preparation and valuable connections across the UK automotive ecosystem.
Steven Lake, Founder and CEO of EVIE Autonomous, said:
“EVIE has reached an important stage in its development. We have built the core technology, demonstrated it across different types of vehicles and identified clear commercial opportunities in several global markets.
“Mobilise will help us strengthen the route from advanced engineering into repeatable commercial deployment. It is also significant recognition of EVIE’s potential from the UK Government and the organisations responsible for supporting Britain’s automotive technology sector.”
Building a Scalable Autonomous Technology Business
EVIE’s strategy is not to become a conventional vehicle manufacturer.
Instead, the company provides the autonomous intelligence and safety architecture that allows manufacturers and operators to automate suitable new or existing equipment.
This capital-light model gives EVIE the ability to work across multiple markets without having to manufacture every target vehicle itself.
The company’s technology can support electric, combustion, hybrid and hydraulically controlled machines, providing customers with a practical route to autonomy without requiring the replacement of an entire fleet.
Selection for Mobilise provides further independent recognition of EVIE’s commercial potential and supports the company’s ambition to become a leading UK provider of scalable autonomous technology.
Mobilise forms part of the Government’s wider support for automotive research, development, manufacturing and zero-emission technology.
